Are you looking for a new book to read? Or maybe you want to get a jump on your Christmas shopping. Either way, you can get what you want and help a fellow Crusader.
Author, Mike Due, Class of 1982, just released his latest book, A Corpse on the Court at St. Henry’s Gym. The story is set in 1981 in the St. Henry gym on Dixie Highway, now the elementary school. The book begins with a murder in the gym during a district final volleyball game between St. Henry and Notre Dame Academy. Mike says the book captures the glory of 1981’s volleyball team that won the state championship. It also pays tribute to teachers and clergy from that time period including Principal Ron Albrink, coaches Katie Wesseling, Dan Niemer, and Bob Murdock, as well as Fr. Pat Stewart, and Dixie Leather. And, just like his previous book, Grave Consequences, Mike included more nostalgia from “back in the day.”
You can get your copy of A Corpse on the Court and get it signed when Mike holds a book signing next Friday, September 29 at The Pub in Crestview Hills. He will be there beginning at 6:00 p.m. and will have copies for purchase.
