The St. Henry District Crusaders Athletic Department would like to welcome Bob Nields as the Head Coach of our Varsity Girls’ Soccer Program.
Bob is a proud 1979 graduate of SHDHS. During his time at SHDHS, he ran cross country, played basketball, and baseball for the Cru. Bob was a member of the first State Championship Team (Cross Country) for SHDHS (as noted by the only black and white picture in the school’s hallway).
Bob is currently the Department Chair and a Tenured Professor of Software Engineering Technologies at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. Prior to Cincinnati State, Bob worked for AT&T for 15 years in several managerial capacities.
Bob is married to his SHDHS high school sweetheart Rosanne Schneider Nields. Bob and Rosanne have had 3 children together. They include daughter Sydney (age 28) and their twins boys Alec and Adam (age 24). Adam and Alec are 2013 SHDHS graduates who played on the 2012 All “A” Soccer State Championship team. In addition, Bob’s new daughter-in-law Libby Leedom Nields (married to Adam) also graduated from SHDHS in 2013 and was a member of the 2010 Girls Soccer State Championship Team.
Bob’s love of sports led him to coach many sports that his kids participated in including basketball, baseball and soccer. Bob coached the club teams for Sydney in addition the club team for Adam and Alec. During the last 8 years, Bob was the head coach for SHDHS Girls Golf Team. During his tenor, he led his team to several invitational tournament championships, 2 All “A” Regional Championships and the KHSAA State Tournament.
