A&A Lawn Care and Landscaping’s 2018 Day of Service helped Welcome House of Northern Kentucky.
The owners of A&A, Tony Kelly ’02 and Andrew Wesselman ’05, said a “Day of Service” is their way to give back to the community and is always a very rewarding day for everyone involved.
For the Day of Service, A&A employees rehabbed the playground at Welcome House of Northern Kentucky by adding new mulch and planting bushes to give the area more comfort and privacy. They also updated the garden by adding a retaining wall and patio so guests and employees would be able to enjoy the outdoors.
“A&A came out and really delivered,” said Danielle Amrine, CEO of Welcome House of Northern Kentucky. “It will help our clients feel better when they’re coming into a space that looks as good as this!”
Welcome House of Northern Kentucky offers services to help guide clients from housing uncertainty to housing stability. Their mission is to provide a continuum of services that will end homelessness and promote stability for each person they serve.
In addition to being a generous supporter of the community, A&A is also a generous supporter of SHDHS. The company not only supports SHDHS financially through an annual Corporate Sponsorship, but they also provide various services related to the maintenance of the school’s outdoor athletic fields.
Thank you A&A for all that you do and for continuing to show your Crusader Spirit.
