A Crusader is chosen to take part in a program that will help her make an impact on our community.
Grace Mulliken was chosen to represent St. Henry District High School by the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s Regional Youth Leadership program.
The program is for outstanding Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati area high school juniors who demonstrate leadership potential and a strong commitment to community service. The purpose of the Regional Youth Leadership Program is to help build leadership skills and further encourage community involvement among young people.
The goal of the program is to inform, motivate, and increase students’ awareness of complex issues and challenges facing the greater metropolitan area and to empower them to make a difference in their communities. By using the community as a classroom for interactive sessions with local community leaders and decision makers, the students will be presented with new challenges and opportunities for intellectual, creative, social, and personal growth. Over 120 highly qualified students applied and only 45 students were accepted.
