Dance Cru

St. Henry is pleased to announce our second annual Dance Cru fundraiser. Once again this year, we are partnering with The Dragonfly Foundation to raise money for families who are affected by pediatric cancer. The Dragonfly Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, provides care to children and young adults who suffer from pediatric cancer and supports their families throughout their treatment and care.

This year’s Dance Cru will take place on Friday, March 16, 2018, and its success is largely dependent upon generous people like yourself. Please consider giving back to our community by supporting this amazing organization!

Dance Cru’s support of the Dragonfly Foundation will help provide support to children, families, and caregivers who are affected by pediatric cancer. According to The Dragonfly Foundation, ¨we provide distractions from the emotional, physical, and financial toll of cancer and bone marrow transplants, as well as the post-traumatic stress associated with the trauma of diagnosis, treatment and recovery.¨ Their primary services fall into four main categories:

  • ¨Gifts” for the hospital, children, and patients/caregivers (toys, video games, new diagnosis/extended stay care packages)
  • Social events and entertainment for the families (tickets to sporting and theatrical events, Dragonfly sponsored events, day camp opportunities)
  • Emotional health, awareness, and support programs (Patient/family spaces in Cincinnati — most notably the “Landing”)
  • Community connections (private social media pages and support groups)
